Ubuntu is a South African philosophy which states that “I am who I am because of who we all are”.
Ubuntu speaks of the very essence of being human; our capacity for openness, understanding, respect and compassion. Human beings are social creatures; we influence each other, depend on each other and can grow and expand together in the most powerful ways.
The values of Ubuntu reflect our innate capacity for connection and love; qualities which we can often become disconnected from in times of struggle. Finding our way back to connection, can often be the path back to wellbeing.
The Ubuntu philosophy has inspired the holistic approach of my practice.
It is my belief that by finding peace within ourselves, we allow ourselves to be in peace with the world around us.
