My aim is to support people to feel empowered to identify patterns of thinking, feeling and doing which are holding them back, learn skills and tools to manage the ups and downs of life and find opportunities to experience greater joy, fulfilment and a sense of peace within; to support and strengthen who you really are and all that you can be.
Since completing my Masters in Psychology (Counselling) at Monash University in 2010, I have been exploring and shaping my own style as a dedicated and passionate psychologist.
I have been lucky enough to combine my passion for psychology and people with my love of yoga and meditation, enjoying the benefits of incorporating these practices into my own life, as well as in my therapeutic practice.
“Everyone has a pot of gold within them, waiting to be seen, heard, felt and understood and released out to the world.” – Anna Davies.
My aim is to support people to feel empowered to manage issues such as stress, anxiety and depression and work through emotional blockages which are holding them back. This provides space to explore opportunities to experience greater joy and fulfilment and a sense of peace within themselves.
By shedding light and working through judgments, fears and emotional wounds, we are able to connect with the strength, wholeness and peace that exists within; to support and strengthen who you really are and all that you can be.
My coaching and counselling work is strongly influenced by principles of Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Focused counselling.
These approaches support me to work holistically with individuals and address the interconnection between all aspects of our wellbeing – mind, body, soul.
